We’re Back, No Thanks to Hurricane Ike

Tags: , ,

I’m not sure if yall are aware or not, but Sketchy Premise HQ is located in, normally sunny, Houston Texas. It’s a great place to live, and we are very fond of Texas. But, this also means we just got hit by Hurricane Ike.

All is well, and everyone with Sketchy Premise turned out to be very lucky. Although Geoff Jimmeney didn’t have power for the longest. But we think that is hilarious, and just his luck. But no real damage, no injury or anything, so we came out on top. And drunker!

Our offices still do not have power however, so I’m posting this from the cozy apartment. Meh. I’d post some pictures I took, but I’m not sure where the cable to plug in the camera is, or the camera. So that’ll have to wait for an upcoming rant.

BUT Now that we are officially back, look out. We have tons of content to unload on yall that we we’re gathering throughout our downtime. We also have a new featured artist and original comedy section to announce. We will most likely be doing that tomorrow, so check back for more.

And as also, tons more funny to come.

Andy Dick Arrested, Again

Tags: ,

If there is ever a headline you should get used to seeing, its probably this one.

Comedian Andy Dick was arrested early Wednesday morning on sexual battery and drug charges, after he allegedly fondled and groped a 17 year old girl, before pulling down her top. When the police arrived to arrest Dick, he was in possession of marijuana and xanax.

The incident occurred at a Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar in Murrieta, California. Andy Dick & friends, who appeared to be heavily intoxicated before arriving, began to drink at the bar. Several people, including the victim, recognized and approached him.

Vrooman said police had already warned Dick about his intoxication before he went to the restaurant. Officers had encountered the comedian while responding to an altercation at the Corner Pocket Sports Cafe in Murrieta about 9 p.m. Tuesday. They told him to leave or face possible arrest on public intoxication charges. He left with five or six friends.

Later that night, Dick and his entourage arrived at the Buffalo Wild Wings and began drinking, police said. He was recognized by several patrons, including the alleged victim, who approached him.

Vrooman said the girl, who is from Murrieta, tried to talk to Dick but backed off when she realized how intoxicated he was.

Police said that when Dick left he spotted the girl and her friend in the parking lot and shouted, "There are the girls!"

"He groped her breast with his right hand, then pulled down her top," Vrooman said.

The teen’s friend called police.

When they arrived, they found Dick in the front seat of a Honda pickup truck heading toward a nearby Sam’s Club parking lot.

Officers stopped the truck and forced all the men inside to line up so the girl could identify the man who allegedly groped her. She pointed to Dick.

A search of his pockets turned up the Xanax and marijuana. He did not have a prescription for the Xanax, police said.

Dick was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, and he may yet be charged with public intoxication, Vrooman said.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 12 in Murrieta.

Editorial Note:

What a shocker. Andy Dick, behaving outrageously. That is most likely because he is always outrageous. He’s a fucking lunatic, in my humble opinion. There are also quite of a few people that blame Andy Dick for Phil Hartman’s death. Either way, it’s sad to see people acting like wreckless morons. After all, he was just on the premiere of the Gong Show. For shame. Oh well, you shouldn’t expect much more from Andy Dick.

Everybody wants to be on TV now a days, but sometimes the situation isn’t appropriate. Take Chuck for example. He’s a fat slob who likes to interrupt newscasts, hoping one day he will get his wish. Lets just say he got it.
