Comedian Mike Irwin Has Died

Posted on 13 July 2008

Comedian Mike Irwin, a national headliner who performed in more than 300 comedy clubs across the country and made numerous appearances on national television, has died after losing his battle with stage IV bone cancer for several months.  Mike was loved by his family, audiences throughout the nation, and his many students who have become professional comedians.  He was a wonderful father, friend, mentor, and comedian who always encouraged his fellow comics to write and perform to the best of their abilities and beyond.

His surviving family could use your help.  Please make a donation to…

The Mike Irwin Family Scholarship Fund set up at the Bank of America.

The account # is 483014348362

Deposits can be made at any branch or can be mailed to:

The Bank of America

The funds will go to Mike’s children and to help an up and coming
comic if there are enough donations.
